The second International Conference on Energy-Aware High-Performance Computing is organized by Thomas Ludwig — head of the German High Performance Computing Centre for Climate- and Earth System Research (DKRZ), and professor at the Department of Informatics of the University of Hamburg.
University of Hamburg
The University of Hamburg is one of Germany's largest universities with about 38,000 students. It is comprised of 150 different buildings that are spread throughout the whole city. The main campus is located in Von-Melle-Park and the surrounding district of Eimsbüttel.
German Climate Computing Centre (DKRZ)
The German Climate Computing Centre is the national german service center for climate researchers. DKRZ's mission is to provide high performance computing platforms, sophisticated and high capacity data management, and superior service for premium climate science. The DKRZ is a coordinating node in the national and European network of climate researchers.

Unfortunately, we have no room contingent at the Mövenpick Hotel. But several hotels near the conference venue can be reached by walk or public transportation. A nearby list of hotels can be found for example on the website messen.de or hotel.de. Public transportation fees will be included in your registration fee.
